Team Liquid signed Wisper to fill the offlane position.

Western European Dota 2 club Team Liquid has announced the signing of Wisper, who will play the team's new offlane position. Ace, who previously played in that position, left the team earlier this month.

Wisper, from South America, has long been among the world's top offlaners. Although he has spent most of his professional career in South America, he is also familiar with the European scene, having previously played for OG from November 2023 to January 2025.

Before joining Liquid, Wisper played for LGD Gaming, where the team narrowly lost to Team Yandex in the TI 2026 playoffs, finishing in 9th to 13th place. After the tournament, LGD's player contracts expired and the original roster was terminated, and Wisper immediately became a free agent.

Team Liquid performed consistently last season, winning two championships at BLAST Slam VI in February and 1win Essence II in early August. They finished 5th to 6th in the quarterfinals of the lower bracket at TI 2026, losing to the eventual champions Team Spirit.

With Wisper joining the team, Liquid's roster for the new season is officially finalized: miCKe, Nisha, Wisper, Boxi, tOfu, and BlitZ as the coach.

The lineup will be showcased at BLAST Slam VIII, which runs from September 29 to October 11, where they will face off against top teams such as the newly crowned TI champions Spirit and PARIVISION.
