In the fifth round of the 2026/27 Premier League season, Arsenal traveled to Brighton for an away game. They ultimately suffered a surprising 0-3 defeat, finishing second with a record of 4 wins and 1 loss.

Brighton started the first half in a strong manner. In the 7th minute, Yassin Ayari received the ball in the attacking third and passed it across to the right wing. After taking the lead, Brighton created several more threats.
