Mongolian Counter Strike 2 (CS2) esports powerhouse The MongolZ, announced via their official Telegram account on Wednesday that the club has benched entry fragger DarkMeister and rifler tikuak.

The two players who were previously promoted from the Academy to the main roster, had underperformed over the past two months. The MongolZ finished only in the top 16 at the Esports World Cup and were eliminated in last place at the FISSURE Playground 3.

During this spell, DarkMeister and tikuak competed in nine matches but appeared somewhat overwhelmed when facing opponents who were stronger and more experienced than themselves.

The former recorded an average individual rating of 0.92, while tikuak recorded an average individual rating of and 0.91 respectively, prompting the club to make the decision to bench them.

Having now benched cobrazera, DarkMeister, and tikuak in succession, The MongolZ faces the urgent task of assembling a complete new full strength starting roster within a month.

The MongolZ's next scheduled tournament is the PGL Masters Bucharest event, taking place in late October.
