Mark Oliver Kempf has signed a contract extension with the club and will continue to play for Como until 2029.

Como 1907 officially announced that the club has extended the contract of German defender Mark Oliver Kempf, with the partnership continuing until 2029. Since joining Como in the summer of 2024, Mark Oliver Kempf has gradually become an important member of the team's defense, making 69 appearances for the team in Serie A and the Coppa Italia, contributing 4 goals and 1 assist.  

For the past two seasons, Mark Oliver Kempf has been a key member of Como's squad. After joining the team, he participated in Como's crucial journey back to Serie A and witnessed and helped the team make history in May 2026 by qualifying for the Champions League for the first time.  

Speaking about completing his contract extension, Mark Oliver Kempf said: "I'm very happy to stay in Como. From the first day I joined the team, I felt like I was coming home. We had a very good season last year, but I believe that we can still get better if we keep working hard. I'm proud to be a part of this team, and I'm also very grateful for the support from the fans and the club."  

Speaking about Mark Oliver Kempf's contract extension, Como coach Cesc Fabregas said: "Over the past two years, he has fully proven himself to be an indispensable member of the team's defense and an important part of the team as a whole. He performed exceptionally well in our first season in Serie A, helping the team achieve a historic breakthrough and qualify for the Champions League. In addition, he has a strong personality and is a great leader in the dressing room. We are delighted to continue working with him and together we will reach 2029."
