The Heat have secured a two-way contract for Keshard Johnson.

August 30th - The Miami Heat officially announced that they have signed forward Keshard Johnson to a two-way contract . Specific terms of the contract have not yet been disclosed, in accordance with team policy .

In his eight regular-season games with the Sky Force last season , Johnson started all eight, averaging 17.4 points, 8.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.88 blocks, and 1.50 steals per game, shooting 51.5% from the field and an impressive 47.1% from three-point range . He scored in double figures in all eight games, including two games with over 20 points, and grabbed at least 10 rebounds in four of them .

In addition, Johnson played 32 games for the Heat, averaging 8.7 minutes, 4.3 points, and 1.9 rebounds per game, with a field goal percentage of 49%. He scored in double figures four times, including a double-double of 14 points and 11 rebounds on November 21 .

It's worth mentioning that Johnson also won the NBA Slam Dunk Contest in 2026, becoming the third player in Heat history to win the title. Derrick Jones and Harold Miner were the previous winners .
