Arsenal have secured the signing of 17-year-old Georgian starlet Baltishvili.

Arsenal Football Club of the English Premier League has officially announced that it has reached a pre-signing agreement with Georgian striker Andria Bartishvili.

The 17-year-old rising star will officially join the team in North London in July 2027 when he turns 18. The transfer is still pending final approval from the relevant regulatory authorities.

Baltishvili primarily plays as a winger and attacking midfielder, possessing well-rounded skills and excellent attacking power on the flanks. He came through the youth academy of Georgia's Korkhti 1913 and made his Georgian top-flight debut in 2025, winning the league's best U17 player award for his outstanding performance that season.

In the 2026 season, Baltishvili was loaned to top-league team Iberia 1999, and scored his first winning goal in a league match against Gagra in May of this year.

At the national team level, Baltishvili's rise has been equally rapid. He first appeared for Georgia's U16 team, then scored in his U17 national team debut. Thanks to his exceptional ability, he was promoted to the U18 national team and recently played two matches for Georgia's U21 national team.

Arsenal highly value the young player's future potential and look forward to his official arrival next summer. Until then, Baltishvili will remain in Iberia 1999 to complete the remaining season and gain valuable experience.
