FOKUS coach Kuben has officially stepped down and will be replaced by JTR.

FOKUS's CS2 team announced on Thursday that it has officially dismissed Yakub Gurchinskiy (ID: kuben) from his coaching position. They have appointed 23-year-old Ricardo Junior (ID: JTR) as the new head coach, but did not disclose specific details.

Kuben, 38, is considered one of the best young coaches in Poland. He has coached several top CS teams, including Virtus.pro, Envy, MAD Lions, Apeks, ENCE, and FC, leading VP to seven S-level championships, including the 2015 FACEIT Europe, ESEA Season 18 Global Finals, CEVO Season 7, CEVO Season 8, the 2016 SL-i International, ELEAGUE Season 1, and DreamHack Las Vegas in 2017.

In February of this year, Kuben was appointed to take over FOKUS, a new team in CS2. Under his leadership, FOKUS's VRS global ranking has risen to 55th, with an overall record of 90 wins and 72 losses.

According to the official statement, kuben's departure was intended to adjust the team's development direction. His replacement, JTR, is from Portugal and previously coached teams such as Rhyno, GXR.fe, Nigma Galaxy, and ODDIK.

All indications suggest that JTR will make his coaching debut for FOKUS during the playoffs of NODWIN Clutch Season 12. FOKUS's current roster is as follows:
