Dust2 reported exclusively on Thursday that American Counter Strike 2 (CS2) esports club M80's head coach dephh, will miss the Roman Imperium Cup VIII due to personal reasons.

According to the report, dephh is sitting out the tournament to spend time with family members visiting from the UK, with the vacation plan that had been finalized long in advance.

Assistant coach Munstur will step in as interim head coach during dephh's absence.

Munstur joined M80 as an analyst prior to the Esport World Cup; during the team's bootcamp, the coaching staff was highly impressed by the Romanian coach's unique insights and tactical guidance. Consequently, M80 promoted him to assistant coach in mid-August.

The 27-year-old Munstur began his career as a professional Counter Strike (CS) analyst and coach in 2022, having previously worked with GamerLegion (GL), Passion UA, and FlyQuest’s women's team, Fly Red.

During his tenure with Fly Red, Munstur helped the squad secure multiple ESL Impact Cash Cup North America titles and served as the coach for the US national women's CS team in 2023.

Last week, M80 finished in the top 12 at the BLAST Open Fall after a loss to Aurora.
