Reece James believes the match against Arsenal will be challenging, and the team must carefully analyze its shortcomings during the game.

Reece James admitted that he was quite disappointed with Chelsea's failure to achieve the desired result in their away game against Arsenal. However, in his view, this defeat should not affect people's judgment of the team's recent performance, especially since Chelsea has shown many encouraging changes since Xabi Alonso took over.

In this fiercely contested and closely contested London derby, Chelsea suffered their first defeat of the season. Despite Morgan Rodgers giving his team an early lead with a brilliant shot, Chelsea failed to hold on and ultimately lost 1-2 to defending champions Arsenal in North London.

For Chelsea captain Reece James, the final outcome of a London derby often hinges on the handling of certain details. Despite the team's failure to secure a victory, he acknowledged many positive aspects of the game and recognized areas for improvement.

Reece James said, "The final result wasn't what we expected, which is certainly disappointing. However, looking at the game as a whole, there were some commendable moments. We started the game well, and even when the score was reversed, we didn't lose confidence but kept trying to turn things around and regain control. Unfortunately, we didn't have enough time in the end."

"At this level of competition, the final outcome of a match is often determined by a few decisive moments. Sometimes, a difference in handling a single detail is enough to change the score, but outsiders sometimes overemphasize these factors. This was a challenging match, and we need to carefully analyze the problems we encountered and take away the valuable lessons learned. We will soon be facing Leeds United, so we must adjust our form now and prepare fully for the next game."

Reece James points out that Chelsea's dressing room maintains a positive atmosphere, and the team, under Xabi Alonso's guidance, continues to gain experience and make progress. In his view, this positive trend will lay a solid foundation for the Blues' future season.

He said, "We have been working with the new head coach and his coaching staff for two months now, and the whole process has been very pleasant so far. We are working hard to integrate into the new system as quickly as possible, while also deepening our understanding of the head coach's philosophy, including the style he wants the team to present in the game. Of course, this cannot be achieved overnight and requires a certain amount of time to adjust. We will seriously implement his tactical requirements and try our best to complete the game according to his ideas."

"We've already won two of our first three league matches. Although we didn't get the ideal result this time, it's just a minor setback in the overall season, and we'll adjust as soon as possible. The most important thing right now is to focus on ourselves and not be influenced by other teams. We've only played three rounds, and there are still 35 matches to go. As long as we give the team enough room to grow, remain patient, and continue to invest, I believe we will eventually return to the ranks of the competitors."
