Sunderland completes contract extension with Haiti international forward Wilson Isidor..

Sunderland announced on their official website on Friday that they have extended the contract of its Haiti international forward Wilson Isidor.

According to Sunderland's official statement, Isidor has signed on a new long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.

After completing his contract extension procedures, Isidor, who was interviewed by the Sunderland official website again, said: "I'm very happy to continue at Sunderland. This club has given me many wonderful memories, and I feel I still have many goals to achieve here."

"Playing in the Premier League and representing Haiti at the World Cup have been very special moments for me. Now I'm focused on continuing to improve myself, helping the team, and giving my all for the fans."

About Wilson Isidor

The 26-year-old Isidor was born on August 27, 2000, in Rennes, France. He is 1.86 meters tall and primarily plays as a center forward, but can also play as a left or right winger. He holds dual French and Haitian citizenship.

Isidore joined Rennes' youth academy at the age of nine and began playing for their reserve team in 2017.

The following July, Isidor joined Monaco on a free transfer and completed his first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in November 2018.

From the summer of 2019 to the first half of 2021, Isidor played on-loan for Laval and Bastia-Borgo. During this spell, his outstanding performances earned him the Bastia-Borgo Young Player of the Year award.

In January 2022, Isidor joined Lokomotiv Moscow for €3 million.

The following September, Isidor moved to Zenit Saint Petersburg on-loan with an obligation to buy.

During his time at Zenit, Isidor won one Russian Premier League title, one Russian Cup, and one Russian Super Cup with the club.

In August 2024, Isidore joined Sunderland on-loan.

After helping the club win the EFL Championship promotion play-offs, Sunderland officially triggered Isidor's buy-out clause.

Since joining the Black Cats, so far, Isidor has made 83 appearances for the Premier League club in all competitions, scoring 19 goals and providing 2 assists.
