Burnley have officially signed Jamie Vardy to a contract that runs until the end of the season.

Burnley Football Club has officially announced that the team has completed the signing of experienced forward Jamie Vardy, with an agreement that the contract will last until the end of this season.  

Jamie Vardy, 39, played for Cremonese in Serie A last season. This experienced striker is widely recognized for his excellent speed, keen finishing ability, and consistently high fighting spirit; his arrival will bring valuable experience to Burnley.  

Burnley manager Nicky Hein expressed his excitement about Jamie Vardy's arrival, saying, "We are delighted to have Jamie Vardy. His extensive experience and outstanding leadership will be a huge asset to the team, and we believe he will play a vital role this season. Jamie Vardy has proven his worth throughout his career, and we can't wait to see him in the Burnley shirt on the pitch."  

Jamie Vardy is also very excited to start his career at Burnley, saying: “I’m really happy to be a part of Burnley Football Club. It’s a club with a long football tradition and a very passionate supporter base. They deserve a team that can represent the team and the city. I can’t wait to get on the pitch, contribute to the team, and help the team move in the right direction.”
