Iñigo Perez was not satisfied with the team's overall performance and admitted that they must get back to their best form as soon as possible through training.

Following Villarreal's 2-3 defeat to Deportivo La Coruña at the Estadio de la Cerámica, manager Iñigo Pérez reviewed the match. He was dissatisfied with the team's overall performance, identifying areas for improvement and expressing disappointment at failing to achieve the desired result.

Iñigo Perez stated that the team's problems go beyond just mistakes and poor finishing in attack. He said, "Besides these issues, there are other aspects we need to adjust. In fact, even if we had won this game, my post-match feelings wouldn't have changed; I still wouldn't be satisfied. We've been trying to find the answers, but unfortunately, so far, we still haven't found what we really need."

"We will not shy away from the problems we face now. This result is indeed disappointing and makes the whole team feel bad. There is still a lot to review and adjust, but we don't have time to dwell on the defeat. The team must get back into training mode as soon as possible because the next game will be very difficult, but we are also looking forward to this competition."

After the match, Iñigo Perez expressed his hope that the team could quickly adjust their form and shift their focus to the upcoming Champions League campaign. Facing the challenge from Dortmund, Villarreal needs to approach the game with a more aggressive attitude. Iñigo Perez stated, "I believe this team has the ability to rebuild their confidence, and we don't need to wait too long. We will give our all and prepare for the next match. The experience at the beginning of the season served as a wake-up call, and we must learn from it to avoid a similar situation from happening again."
