De Zerbi comments on Tottenham's draw against Forest: "Their fighting spirit deserves recognition."

After Tottenham Hotspur's 0-0 draw against Nottingham Forest, manager Roberto De Zerbi gave an interview to the club's official channel.

Despite the team's goalless draw and only one point, De Zerbi still highly praised the fighting spirit shown by the entire team, while also frankly pointing out the shortcomings in key decision-making on the offensive end.

Looking back on the entire match, De Zer admitted that his emotions were complicated: "I am indeed frustrated and regretful about the final draw, but I am very satisfied with the overall performance on the field."

"This is exactly the spirit I want to see in this team. For the entire 90 minutes, everyone believed in their own abilities, believed in the tactical plan, and trusted their teammates and the whole club without reservation. This is the perfect mentality, and I can't ask for more from everyone's fighting spirit."

“We definitely need to improve in many areas. Where exactly is the problem? The answer lies in the attacking third. It’s definitely not because we lack individual ability; we have many outstanding top players in the squad.”

De Zerbi emphasized the need for forwards to improve their judgment in the final stages of the game by examining specific moments in the closing stages: "We must be more mature when making our final decisions. When we advance into the attacking third, we need to stay calm and choose the best option."
