Celta Vigo officially announce the signing of PSV Eindhoven's Morocco international winger Couhaib Driouech..

Celta Vigo announced on their official website on Wednesday that they have signed PSV Eindhoven's Morocco international winger Couhaib Driouech.

According to Celta's official website, Driouech has signed on a long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.

After completing his transfer procedures, Driouech, who was interviewed by the Celta Vigo official website for the first time, said: "First of all, I'm very happy to be here, and I'm delighted to join Celta Vigo."

"I had heard many interesting stories about this club before, and I know it's a club with a long history in La Liga, which is one of the reasons I chose to come here. I think this is the best place for me to develop and showcase my skills. Of course, I hope to create many wonderful achievements and memories with Celta."

About Couhaib Driouech

The 24-year-old Driouech was born on April 17, 2002, in Haarlem, Netherlands. He is 1.75 meters tall and primarily plays as a left winger, but can also play on the right. He holds dual Dutch and Moroccan citizenship.

Driouech played for the youth academy of IJVV Stormvogels as a child, joined the Heerenveen youth academy in 2016, before completing his first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in September 2020.

In late August of the following year, Driouech joined Excelsior Rotterdam as a free agent.

In July 2024, Driouech moved to PSV Eindhoven for €3.5 million.

During his two-year spell with the Lampen, Driouech made 61 appearances for PSV Eindhoven in all competitions, scored 12 goals, provided 10 assists, where he won the Eredivisie title twice and the Johan Cruyff Shield (Dutch Super Cup) once.
