The new League of Legends skin "Witch Meler" has been revealed, and it may bring a completely different visual experience than before.

The official League of Legends website recently revealed information about the 2026 Witchcraft skin line, officially unveiling the new skin "Witch Meler." In a world shrouded in darkness, Meler hides her vengeful heart deep within, but gradually loses her sanity in her prolonged rage. Ultimately, she chooses to unleash the cold night, bringing fear to all humanity and all living beings.  

In this skin's lore, Mel will appear with a completely new look, no longer the Mel player is familiar with, but one who has been utterly reshaped by forbidden power. In order to obtain the power to complete her revenge, she deliberately touches the dangerous power of the ancient gods and continuously enhances her strength with the help of blood magic. Under the corruption of darkness and madness, she gradually embarks on a path of no return.  

Upon returning to town, Mel will appear atop a mysterious altar, continuously drawing upon the power contained within the Old Gods through blood magic. As forbidden magic gradually comes under her control, Mel will then step into the magic circle to complete her escape. The entire process ends with only the eerie gaze cast by the Old Gods, creating a mysterious and oppressive atmosphere for the return-to-town special effect.  

Once in combat, Mel's skill effects also incorporate elements of the power of the Old Gods. She can continuously stack Old God Marks through blood magic, and when the marks accumulate to a certain number, she can invoke the power of the Old Gods to unleash punishment, further highlighting the dark aura of the witch theme in the entire skill set.  

When using other skills, Mel also draws upon the power of the Old Gods. After casting "Soul Mirror," she can use the power of the Old Gods to create a demonic barrier to protect herself; while when releasing "Golden Eclipse," she gathers forbidden power to cast magic, summoning the attention of the Old Gods and attacking enemies marked with the mark of punishment.

As more content in the Witch series is revealed, "Witch Meler," incorporating blood magic and ancient god elements into its overall design, is expected to bring a completely different visual experience to Summoner's Rift.
