Polish forward Milicic II will join the Knicks and make his NBA debut.

According to Polish media reports, the NBA defending champion New York Knicks completed their roster additions before the start of training camp for the new season, officially signing Polish national team player Igor Milicic Jr. to an Exhibit 10 contract.

The 24-year-old Milicic II went undrafted in last year's NBA draft. He then signed a training camp contract with the Philadelphia 76ers but ultimately failed to make the team, subsequently playing for the Delaware Blue Shirts in the NBA Development League.

During his time in the G League last season, Milicic II played 13 games, averaging 6.8 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. Before turning professional, he played for the University of Virginia, the University of Charlotte, and the University of Tennessee, showcasing a solid technical foundation and being a promising young forward being groomed by the Polish national men's basketball team.

When the Knicks opened training camp for 2026, all three of their two-way contract slots were vacant. With key players like Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart, and Miles McBride facing contract renewals, the front office sought to maintain high flexibility in salary cap space while actively developing promising young rotation players to support their title defense in the new season.

This contract provides Milicic II with a crucial springboard to make the NBA roster, and he will strive to earn a two-way contract with the Knicks through his performance in training camp, once again making a run for his NBA dream.
