Pacers' all-time top five steals: Reggie Miller tops the list

The Indiana Pacers have a history of producing many outstanding guards and perimeter players who have contributed significantly to their defensive stats, including numerous steals. Here are the top five Pacers players in franchise history for total steals:

1. Reggie Miller ( 1505 steals )

Reggie Miller played 18 seasons with the Pacers , appearing in more than 1,300 games. Although he only averaged 1.1 steals per game in his career , he accumulated the highest total number of steals in team history due to his long tenure.

2. Fern Fleming ( 885 steals)

Fern Fleming played for the Pacers for over 10 years, during which he averaged over 14 points and over 6 assists per game in three single seasons. While playing for Indiana, he averaged 1.1 steals per game.

3. Paul George ( 740 steals)

Paul George was selected to the All -NBA Team six times and the All-Defensive Team four times. He played his first seven NBA seasons with the Pacers, averaging 1.7 steals per game.

4. Jamal Tinsley ( 660 steals)

Jamal Tinsley played seven seasons with the Pacers, averaging 1.7 steals per game, making him one of the top five players in franchise history with the highest steals per game.

5. Danny Granger ( 545 steals)

At the peak of his career, Danny Granger averaged 22.3 points per game, won the NBA Most Improved Player award, and was selected to the All-Star team once. In the 2009-10 season, he averaged 1.5 steals per game , reaching a career high; during his time with the Pacers, he averaged 1.0 steals per game.
