Troyes announced on their official website on Sunday that they have signed Togo international midfielder Dermane Karim from their sister club, Lommel.

According to the newly promoted Ligue 1 club's official statement, Karim has signed on a three-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2029.

About Dermane Karim

Dermane Karim, who is only still 22 years old, was born on December 26, 2003, in Sokodé, Togo. He is 1.66 meters tall and primarily plays as a center midfielder, but can also play as an attacking midfielder or defensive midfielder.

Karim joined West Africa Football Academy, a local club in Ghana, at the age of 10. At 19, he returned to Togo to join a football academy in the country.

After graduating, Karim joined Feyenoord's youth academy on the 2022 winter transfer window deadline day and completed his Feyenoord first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in May of the same year.

The following July, Karim joined Lommel for €1 million.

In 2025, Karim spent time on-loan at Kortrijk and Lorient.

During his two-year spell at Lommel, Karim made 49 appearances for the Jupiler Pro League club in all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 6 assists.
