LeBron James believes that Jaylen Brown's approach to things has been misunderstood.

In a recent interview, NBA star LeBron James mentioned his new Philadelphia 76ers teammate Jaylen Brown, saying that Brown's intelligence and personality have been misunderstood and criticized by the outside world.

Jaylen Brown, 29, previously played for the Boston Celtics for about 10 years and helped them win the NBA championship in the 2023/24 season.

However, in July, Jaylen Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers. It's worth noting, though, that 41-year-old NBA superstar LeBron James also joined the 76ers, making the NBA championship race even more exciting in the new season.

Philadelphia 76ers forward LeBron James said, "I just think that whenever someone lives at their own pace, it makes some people uncomfortable. He has his own voice and moves at his own pace. The reason it makes people uncomfortable is because it's not how most people are used to seeing him."

“When this trait is misunderstood, it can become a deterrent. People will feel pressured and don’t want to be around such a person. It’s this kind of personal aura that makes them feel uncomfortable.”

In addition, the Philadelphia 76ers will participate in preseason games next month to begin preparations for the 2026/27 NBA regular season.

When asked about the team's attitude towards realizing its championship potential, LeBron James said, "What is our goal? Are we going to bring individualism to this team and give our all for the team, or are we going to put our personal interests first?"

“If we can come together now for the same goal, then we can look each other honestly and say, ‘Okay, this is what we agreed on.’ This is what we agreed to do, which is what we call responsibility, and I’m really looking forward to it.”

LeBron James also stated, "My voice has always been one of my greatest strengths. If what I hear from my teammates is that we're here to develop a championship mentality and that there's something to it all about, then there shouldn't be any misunderstandings between us."

“It’s normal for people to have different opinions during this process, because that’s part of the whole process. To achieve our goals, we need to make sacrifices and communicate with each other.”
