The Suns signed Dupe Reith and Kennedy Chandler, increasing their training camp roster to 21 players.

September 28th - The Phoenix Suns announced the signing of center Dupe Reith and guard Kennedy Chandler . With these two additions, the Suns' training camp roster reaches 21 players, meeting the league's maximum allowed number of players for training camp.

Reese has already received a training camp invitation from the Suns. Before the start of the new season, he will compete for a regular season roster spot, and also has the opportunity to secure a two-way contract. The Suns now need to select the final 15 standard contract players from their 21- man roster before the end of training camp.

Chandler, standing at 1.83 meters tall and weighing 77 kilograms, played 11 games for the Utah Jazz last season , averaging 15.0 points, 6.7 assists, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.0 steals per game. He scored a career-high 31 points against the New Orleans Pelicans on April 7th , followed by 26 points and 10 assists against the Memphis Grizzlies on April 10th , achieving his first double-double in his NBA career.

Chandler has two years of NBA experience. He was selected 38th overall in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft and played for the University of Tennessee in college. To date, he has also played 153 games in the NBA G League , averaging 14.7 points and 6.1 assists per game.

The Suns' current roster includes 15 players on guaranteed contracts, 3 players on two-way contracts, and 3 players on Exhibit 10 training camp contracts. Of these, Haywood Highsmith and Jamari Buya 's contracts won't be guaranteed until January 2027 .
