Luis de la Fuente: The team has always maintained a positive and proactive attitude, and everyone is eager to continuously improve themselves.

Spain came from behind to defeat England 3-2 in their opening UEFA Nations League match at Wembley Stadium, securing their first victory of the tournament.  

After the match, Luis de la Fuente said, "For about six or seven minutes in the first half, we lost focus, and a similar thing happened at the start of the second half. However, it was indeed a very difficult match because we were facing a very strong team."  

"Perhaps we didn't do a good enough job of pushing forward and utilizing the space behind us, so we decided to change our approach. A game goes through different phases, and we know we should play the right way at the right time. England has many talented players who are always capable of creating threats, but we ultimately controlled the game very well."  

“This team has a strong drive to improve, and everyone wants to keep making progress. We still have a lot of room for improvement, and new players are constantly joining the team, injecting more strength into it. The players have built a very strong bond, which makes everyone willing to give more for each other. Tonight, we once again demonstrated the team’s outstanding football talent.”
