Sassuolo completes contract extension with Italian goalkeeper Stefano Turati..

Sassuolo announced on their official website on Friday that they have extended the contract of its Italian goalkeeper Stefano Turati.

According to Sassuolo's official statement, Turati signed on a new long-term five-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2031.

About Stefano Turati

The 25-year-old Turati was born on September 5, 2001, in Milan, Italy. He is 1.91 meters tall and plays as a goalkeeper.

Turati played at the youth academies of Inter Milan and Renate before joining Sassuolo's youth academy in 2018, where he would complete his first-team debut the following December at the age of 18 in a match against Juventus.

In the summer of 2021, Turati was loaned-out to Reggina. The following summer, he was loaned-out to Frosinone for two years, and then being loaned-out to Monza in the summer of 2024.

After his loan spell ends in the summer of 2025, Turati will officially become a member of Sassuolo's first-team.

Since joining I Neroverdi, Turati has so far made 11 appearances for the Serie A club in all competitions, conceding 15 goals and keeping 3 clean sheets.
