Adrian Truffaut represented the French national team and helped the team defeat Türkiye in the UEFA Nations League.

Adrian Truffaut became the first active Bournemouth player to represent the French national team, helping his side to a 1-0 victory over Turkey in the UEFA Nations League. The Bournemouth left-back started and played the full 90 minutes, assisting France in a clean sheet at the Al-Achmuenekojaeli Stadium in Turkey, and making a memorable return to the national team.  

Adrian Truffaut has been called up to Zinedine Zidane's first squad for the French national team. His impressive performances for Bournemouth earned the defender his return to the senior national team after several years, his last call-up being in 2022.  

24-year-old Adrian Truffaut seized this rare opportunity, starting as a left-back for the strong French team, helping the team start their UEFA Nations League campaign with a victory and securing three valuable points.  

Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé scored the only goal of the match, securing a victory for France. The French starting lineup also included Ballon d'Or winner Ousmane Dembélé, Bayern Munich player Michael Oliese, and Manchester City midfielder René Scherki.  

This match was undoubtedly special for Adrian Truffaut, marking another important moment in his career as he became the first player to represent the French senior national team while playing for Bournemouth.
