Quique Alvarez believes the team needs to improve its game control and further optimize its overall organization.

Girona are about to host Albacete, and Quique Álvarez expects it to be a tough match. Despite the La Mancha side's current position in the league standings, he reminded his team in the pre-match press conference not to let their ranking affect them and to stay focused, as their opponents are "competing at a good level."  

Quique Alvarez acknowledged that the team's current injury situation will more or less affect pre-match preparations and may even prompt the coaching staff to reconsider their tactical arrangements. He said, "When players are consecutively absent from the same position, you naturally consider whether you need to adjust the formation. That's our responsibility; we need to make arrangements based on the current players and field the most suitable lineup."

Against this backdrop, Quique Álvarez described the match as a "trap" and hoped for more support from the fans in the stands. He stated, "The fans need to understand that this will be a very tough team. We need their support in the stadium because this match will be very difficult in every aspect."  

When discussing areas where the team still needs improvement, Quique Alvarez pointed out that the team needs to better control the tempo and different stages of the game, while further improving the consistency of their overall performance. He added, "We need to strengthen our control of the game and make the team's overall organization more refined; these are areas we must continue to work on."
