Guimarães hopes to win more titles with Arsenal.

Brazilian midfielder Guimarães said in an interview that he hopes to leave his mark on the field wearing Arsenal's jersey and aims to lift more championships with the Gunners.

The 28-year-old Guimarães previously played for Newcastle for about five years, winning the English League Cup. Last month, Guimarães transferred to Arsenal and signed a four-year contract.

Since the start of the 2026/27 Premier League season, Guimarães has made three appearances for Arteta's team, including a goal against Sunderland.

Guimarães said, "I've only been with Arsenal for a short time, and I'm very focused right now. I want to win titles and get playing time with Arsenal, and I also want to leave my mark in this new jersey. But ultimately, the future is in God's hands."
