Klopp believes that Germany can create moments of surpassing itself by leveraging collective strength.

The 2026/27 UEFA Nations League will kick off its first group stage match, with Germany traveling to face the Netherlands. New manager Jurgen Klopp stated that his team must utilize collective strength and he believes Germany can create moments that surpass their own achievements.

In an interview, Klopp stated, "We have some incredibly talented players; all of our players have repeatedly exceeded expectations at their respective clubs."

“But now some people might ask, when was the last time this national team did this? I haven’t watched every game, but I can say for sure that it wasn’t done every time. Klopp said, "We are currently working hard to find ways to get this done together and to succeed together. If we can truly come together in this system, we can create some moments that allow us to surpass ourselves."

It is worth mentioning that Klopp, now 59, managed the Premier League giants Liverpool for nine years, leading the "Reds" to their first Premier League title, as well as two English League Cup titles, one English FA Cup title, one European Super Cup title, and one Champions League title, among other major accolades.

Klopp continued, "I don't want to make any promises. All I can say is that we will try to do it, and that's what we need to do now, and that's the stage we're at right now."

"I am now the head coach of the national senior team, and my task is to get German football to a point where we have a chance to win every game. Of course, we can't do that every day, but we are working towards that goal. We need to move forward step by step, and the players are ready."
