BCG official announcement: Rifleman ElectroNic has been relegated to the bench, and his position will be taken over by Asap.

BC.Game's CS2 team announced on Tuesday that Denis Sharipov (ID: electroNic) has been relegated to the bench, effective immediately.

The 28-year-old electroNic plays as a rifler and has played for several top CS teams throughout his career, including ACES, Evolution, Rebels, Empire, NokSuKao, FlipSid3, NAVI, Cloud9, and Virtus.pro. He has won over 15 major championships with his teams, including the 2018 ESL One Cologne, the 2020 IEM Katowice, the ESL Grand Slam Season 3, the 2021 PGL Stockholm Major, and the 2021 BLAST Premier Global Finals.

In August 2025, electroNic officially joined BCG. To date, he has played 100 maps and participated in 2117 rounds for BCG, with an average personal rating of 1.05.

According to the official statement, electroNic's successor is 23-year-old Australian player Tyson Patterson (ID: asap). asap transferred from THUNDERdOWNUNDER, where he accumulated an average personal rating of 1.23.

All indications suggest that asap's addition marks a significant shift in BCG's tactical direction. He will join forces with Azbayar Munkhbold (ID: Senzu) and Ayush Batbold (ID: mzinho) to form a core lineup dominated by Asian players, resulting in BCG's regional affiliation in the VRS rankings shifting from Europe to Asia.

This change in regional affiliation will directly impact BCG's chances of qualifying for the 2026 PGL Singapore Major. They are currently ranked fourth in Asia with 1191 points, and five teams from that region will receive direct invitations to the PGL.
