Sassuolo completes contract extension with right-wing back Simone Cinquegrano..

Sassuolo announced on their official website on Tuesday that they have extended the contract of its right wing-back Simone Cinquegrano.

According to Sassuolo's official statement, Cinquegrano has signed on a new long-term six-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2032.

About Simone Cinquegrano

Cinquegrano, who is only still 22 years old, was born on June 25, 2004, in Modena, Italy. He is 1.92 meters tall and primarily plays as a right wing-back, but can also play as a right midfielder or right winger. He holds dual Italian and Argentine citizenship.

Cinquegrano played for the youth academies of several Italian non-league clubs during his childhood. He joined Sassuolo's youth academy at the age of 17, during which time he helped the team achieve a surprise Campionato Primavera title win.

From August 2024 to the first half of the following year, Cinquegrano successively played on-loan for Rimini and Inter Milan's U23s team.

After his loan spell ends in the summer of 2026, Cinquegrano returns to the club and completed his Sassuolo first-team debut in August of the same year.

This season, Cinquegrano has so far made 7 appearances for the Serie A club in all competitions so far, providing 2 assists.
