Totti Gomez, who helped Wolves win both of his local derbies, said the team was very clear about how to play to beat West Bromwich Albion at Molineux Stadium before the match. The captain's performance in defense was outstanding, repeatedly blocking attacks with his body to maintain the team's lead and ultimately help Wolves secure the crucial three points.  

Totti Gomez, who played for Wolves in the 2024 match between the two teams at The Hawthorns, knows all too well how important this derby is to both sets of fans. The captain stated that he has always hoped to bring a victory to the Wolves supporters at Molineux Stadium.  

After the match, Totti Gomez said, "This is definitely one of the best feelings. We knew very well how important this match was and that we had to prepare thoroughly beforehand. We knew our opponents would give it their all, and we also accomplished what we set before the match and ultimately achieved the result we wanted."
