Counter Strike 2: OG will likely bench In-Game Leader cadiaN..

Dust2, citing the French outlet La Source, reported on Monday that OG is likely to bench their In-Game Leader (IGL) cadiaN.

According to the report, the club is leaning toward a major roster overhaul to turn things around following a dismal performance in 2026.

Current indications suggest that cadiaN will likely be the first player benched, with rifler bodyy, who is currently on-loan from 3DMAX, expected to step in as the new IGL.

Additionally, rifler pr1metapz, on-loan from Sangal, is also expected to be moved to the bench alongside cadiaN.

Another rifler, spooke, will likely be retained in the new starting roster.

Furthermore, La Source revealed that OG had initially attempted to sign the core roster of 3DMAX.

However, that plan reportedly fell through because other clubs, including ENVY, also showed interest in the roster.

This sweeping restructuring comes against the backdrop of the team's lack of success on the global stage for most of 2026.

Currently, cadiaN and his teammates sit at just 85th place in the VRS rankings.

Although they finished as runners-up at the Roman Imperium Cup VI, their best result of the year, they have failed to secure a direct invite or qualify for any S-tier LAN events so far.

OG's current roster took shape in late 2025 with the signing of cadiaN. The Danish veteran was brought in with high hopes to lead the new international squad as both IGL and AWPer.

Despite several roster changes over the past ten months, the team has struggled to find its form; aside from spooke, the players' average ratings have hovered around 1.00 during their time with this Danish Counter Strike 2 (CS2) organization.

After selling adamb to NIP, OG is left with only four players and a gap in their schedule, offering a perfect opportunity to "hit the reset button" and focus on preparing for next year's two Majors.
