Lecce completes contract extensions with Antonino Gallo and Tiago Gabriel..

Lecce announced on their official website on Sunday that the club has extended the contracts of Italian left-back Antonino Gallo and Portugal U21s international center-back Tiago Gabriel.

According to the Lecce's official statement, Gallo has signed on a new three-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2029, while Gabriel has signed on a new long-term four-year deal with the club which runs until the summer of 2030.

About Antonino Gallo

The 26-year-old Antonino Gallo was born on January 5, 2000, in Palermo, Italy. He is 1.83 meters tall and primarily plays as a left-back, but can also play as a left midfielder.

Gallo came through the youth academy of his hometown club, Palermo, but joined Lecce in 2019 after Palermo went bankrupt due to financial difficulties.

In January of the following year, Gallo was loaned-out to the non-league side Virtus Francavilla.

In January 2021, Gallo completed his Lecce first-team debut by coming on as a substitute in January 2021.

Since joining Lecce, Gallo has so far made 195 appearances for the club across all competitions, scoring one goal, providing 16 assists, and was part of the squad that won the Serie B title.

About Tiago Gabriel

Tiago Gabriel, who is only still 21 years old, was born on December 26, 2004, in Cascais, Portugal. He is 1.94 meters tall and plays as a center-back.

Gabriel spent his early youth career at the Sporting CP youth academy before moving to the Vitória Setúbal youth academy in 2020, though he was released by the club in 2023.

After leaving Vitória de Setúbal, Gabriel joined Estrela da Amadora on a free transfer and completed his Estrela da Amadora first-team debut at the following August.

The following January, Gabriel joined Lecce for a fee of €1 million.

Since joining Lecce, Gabriel has so far made 46 appearances and scored four goals for the Serie A club across all competitions.
