September 20th - According to ESPN reporter Shams Charania , the Denver Nuggets will sign Cam Whitmore to a two-way NBA contract. Whitmore has already joined Nuggets training and will be entering his fourth NBA season.

Whitmore was the 20th overall pick in the 2023 NBA draft . In his first two seasons with the Houston Rockets, he played 98 games, averaging 10.8 points and 3.4 rebounds in 17.4 minutes per game , with a field goal percentage of 44.9% and a three-point percentage of 35.7% .

In the 2025 offseason, the Rockets traded Whitmore to the Washington Wizards. Last season, he only played 21 games, averaging 9.2 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, with a field goal percentage of 45.6% . His season was cut short due to a blood clot in his right shoulder.

Last month, Whitmore was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but the Cavaliers subsequently waived her to free up roster space and salary cap space. To date, Whitmore has played 119 games in her career, averaging 10.5 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
