Iñigo Perez praised the players' excellent performance and was happy for the team's victory.

Villarreal manager Iñigo Pérez highly praised his players' performance after the team's 3-1 away win against Malaga in the sixth round of La Liga. This victory was also Villarreal's first league win of the season, and the team finally secured three crucial points at the La Rozaleda Stadium.  

Iñigo Perez said: "The players performed exceptionally well today, and they finally got the result they deserved. We played a fantastic game. Against an opponent like Malaga, if you don't apply pressure proactively, it's easy to give them opportunities to create threats. I'm especially proud of the team's response after conceding a goal, and I'm very happy that we then scored three more goals."  

“I’ve been watching the players train and have never lost faith in them. I’ve always believed that we just need to do what we’re supposed to do. This victory was well-deserved, and hopefully it will be a turning point for the team. When you encounter difficulties one after another, it’s inevitable that some pressure and doubts will accumulate in your mind, but today we finally showed a stronger ability to take our chances. I think this may be our most complete game so far, although there have been some games before that deserved better results.”  

“We’ve played in matches like this more than once. What really pleases me is that the team was able to adjust quickly and respond promptly after conceding the first goal. Against a very tough team, we played a very complete game and ultimately achieved a result that matched our performance.”  

"When the team falls behind, doubts easily arise, but I am very satisfied with the players' composure. Next, we need to carefully review the game and learn from it."  

Finally, Iñigo Perez looked ahead to the team's next match against Levante, expressing his hope that the team would maintain its form. He said, "I'm happy that the players are able to relieve the pressure, and I'm also happy for the president and his family. This victory has brought us something very positive and relieved some of the pressure on the team. However, we still need to remain cautious and continue to work hard to maintain our current performance. Hopefully, we can win at the Estadio de la Cerámica and bring a perfect end to this stage of the competition."
