João Virginia admitted that although the team failed to win, the players showed great fighting spirit on the field.

João Virginha stated that Wolves demonstrated their squad depth in the match against Everton, which is crucial for the team's future competitiveness. The goalkeeper made his Wolves debut against his former club, whom he left two years ago, and impressed with a strong performance.  

João Virginha, who joined Wolves from Sporting Lisbon last month, also got a chance to play in this match. After making his Wolves debut with a solid performance, he believes that the team now has more players of similar ability, which gives Cesar Pesciotto more options in terms of lineup, and this will have a positive effect on the team's future schedule.  

After the match, João Virginia said: "I think the team played quite well overall today. We fought until the very last moment, and the opponent was indeed very difficult to deal with, which we knew very well before the match started. Personally, I am very excited to be back here to play and to complete a match like this."

When asked about how he quickly integrated into the team, João Virginha said, "Adapting to a new environment is a necessary process. I had spoken with Cesar Pesciotto before, and I already knew about his playing philosophy when he coached in Portugal, because I had been following his teams in the past. So after arriving here, I quickly adapted to his tactical system and gradually built up a rapport with my teammates."
