Alex Scott played a crucial role in Bournemouth's historic Europa League victory, delivering a precise cross that assisted Rayan's header to secure a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad. Scott found the Brazilian youngster Rayan perfectly, who headed the ball into the net, extending Bournemouth's lead to 2-0. Justin Kluivert had already scored the opening goal for the visitors.  

After the match, Alex Scott said, "I finally felt a sense of relief when the final whistle blew because it was a very tough game. We played very well in the first half and successfully put pressure on the opponent. In the second half, the home fans started chanting for the team continuously, and the sound in the stadium was very loud, but we managed to stabilize the situation and deal with their attacks well."
