The Knicks acquired John Conchar to begin his eighth NBA season.

September 17th - According to ESPN , free agent forward John Conchar has reached a signing agreement with the New York Knicks. Conchar's agent, George S. Lamberg of GSL Sports Group, confirmed the news to ESPN .

The 30- year-old Conchae is about to enter his eighth season in the NBA . Last season, he played for the Memphis Grizzlies and the Utah Jazz before being traded to the Jazz midway through the season.

Conchae is one of the most experienced free agents currently available, having played over 360 games in his NBA career. He spent his first six seasons with the Grizzlies before being traded to the Jazz midway through last season.

Since joining the Jazz, Conchar has played 26 games, averaging 5.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.

The Knicks currently have two open roster spots, and Conchard has a chance to compete for a place on the final roster. Sources indicate that the Knicks also plan to sign center Drew Eubanks , who will also be competing for a roster spot.
