Former Juventus legendary right-winger Juan Cuadrado officially joins Millonarios on a free transfer..

Millonarios announced on their official website on Wednesday that former Juventus legendary Colombia international right-winger Juan Cuadrado has joined the club on a free transfer.

According to the Liga DIMAYOR powerhouse's official statement, Cuadrado has signed on a short-term one-year deal with the club which will only run until the summer of 2027.

About Juan Cuadrado

The 38-year-old Juan Cuadrado was born on May 26, 1988, in Necoclí, Colombia. He is 1.76 meters tall and primarily plays as a right-winger but can also play as a right midfielder or right wing-back, and holds dual citizenship in Colombia and Italy.

Encouraged by his mother, Cuadrado joined the youth academies of several local Colombian non-league clubs at the age of 12. He later joined the Independiente Medellín youth academy at 15 and completed his first-team debut in September 2008.

The following July, Cuadrado joined Udinese for a fee of €30,000. During his time there, he also had a loan spell at Lecce.

In July 2012, Cuadrado moved to Fiorentina for €18 million.

During his year-and-a-half stint with I Viola, Cuadrado's outstanding performances attracted the attention of Chelsea.

On 2015 winter transfer window deadline day, Cuadrado joined Chelsea for €30 million. As part of the deal, Egyptian legend Mohamed Salah moved to Fiorentina on-loan.

While playing for the Blues, Cuadrado won both the Premier League and the League Cup.

In August of that same year, Cuadrado was loaned-out to Juventus for a three years. However, I Bianconeri triggered his buyout clause in advanced after two years, paying €20 million to secure him permanently. 

During his eight-year stint with I Bianconeri, Cuadrado won five Serie A titles, four Coppa Italia, and two Supercoppa Italiana, while also reaching the UEFA Champions League final once.

After his contract expired in July 2023, Cuadrado joined Inter Milan on a free transfer. During his time there, he helped the team achieve a domestic double by winning both Serie A and the Supercoppa Italiana.

In August of the following year, Cuadrado moved to Atalanta as a free agent, helping the team reach the Coppa Italia quarter-finals.

In the summer of 2025, Cuadrado joined Pisa on a free transfer.

Last season, Cuadrado made 21 appearances across all competitions for the Serie B club and provided one assist.
