Dean Henderson has signed a contract extension with Crystal Palace, extending his contract until 2030.

Crystal Palace have officially announced that captain Dean Henderson has signed a contract extension with the club. The goalkeeper, who helped the team win European titles, previously lifted the UEFA League trophy with RB Leipzig and later led England to their best World Cup result in 60 years. The partnership will now run until 2030.  

Since leaving Manchester United for Crystal Palace in August 2023, Dean Henderson has gradually become a beloved member of the team. He has made 119 appearances for Crystal Palace, keeping a clean sheet in 38 of them, and has also made 5 appearances for the England national team.  

From saving a crucial penalty in the FA Cup final against Manchester City in May 2025 to help Crystal Palace hold onto their lead, to making numerous brilliant saves in the Community Shield match against Liverpool at Wembley a few months later to help the team win the title, to consistently wearing the captain's armband in the knockout stages of last season's UEFA League and ultimately leading the team to lift the trophy in Leipzig, Dean Henderson has left an indelible mark on Crystal Palace's history.  

Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish said: "Dean Henderson is not only an excellent goalkeeper, but also an important captain and leader for the team. I am delighted to see his decision to stay at Crystal Palace and sign a new contract with the club. I hope that we can achieve more success together in the future."  

Speaking about his decision to extend his contract, Dean Henderson said, "I'm very happy. The past three years have been a wonderful experience for me, and I'm delighted to stay here and extend my contract. I believe the best part of my career is yet to come, and I look forward to continuing to dedicate these important moments to Crystal Palace."
