Álvaro Arbeloa: I think the team performed better on the field, and we fully deserved to advance.

Alvaro Arbeloa believes Fulham's 3-2 away win against West Ham United in the English League Cup was a well-deserved victory. The first half was a fiercely contested affair, with Rodrigo Muniz and Cesar Palacios giving Fulham the lead, but West Ham twice equalized. With 15 minutes remaining, Oscar Bob scored the winning goal, securing a point for Fulham at the London Stadium.  

After the match, Álvaro Arbeloa said, "We actually had chances to score more goals. At the end of the first half, I was a little disappointed that the team had conceded two goals. However, in the second half, our performance improved significantly, and while we scored again, we also created more scoring opportunities."  

"They did have a very good chance near the end of the game. But overall, I think we were the better team on the pitch and we fully deserved to advance to the next round. There was a lot of doubt before the game, and many people were discussing why we couldn't score away from home. We scored three goals in this game, but I have to say that two of the goals we conceded could have been avoided."  

"However, we performed exceptionally well defensively. We have many talented players who also create numerous attacking opportunities during the game. Before the match, we had a clear strategy and knew exactly how to play, and ultimately the players executed the plan very well."
