paiN official announcement: Piriajr has been relegated to the bench, and Tatu will replace him.

Brazilian CS2 team paiN announced on Monday that Guilherme Barbosa (ID: piriajr) has been relegated to the bench, effective immediately.

23-year-old piriajr plays rifle and has played for several top CS teams throughout his career, including Santos, Falkol, Keyd Stars, DETONA, Imperial, FURIA.A, Arctic, O Plano, adalYamigos, Bounty Hunters, and Fluxo. He has also won numerous Class B championships with his teams, including the Players Club Masters VI, the 2021 DH March Open North American Championship, the CCT Season 2 South American Series 4, the DBE 2024 Championship, the CCT Season 2 South American Series 5, the CCT Season 2 South American Series 8, and the ESL Challengers League S49 South American Championship.

In January of this year, piriajr joined paiN on a loan-to-buy basis. To date, he has played 132 maps and participated in 2822 rounds for paiN, with an average rating of 1.03, and helped the team win the Circuit X Mayhem São Paulo tournament.

However, paiN's recent performance has been less than ideal. They not only finished last in both the Stake Ranked Season 3 and the Esports Club World Championship, but also failed to advance beyond the group stage of the Esports Club World Championship.

According to the official statement, piriajr's successor will be 22-year-old Lucas Santana (ID: Tatu). As a high-quality product of the paiN youth academy, Tatu will make his first-team debut this week at the Circuit X Curitiba Season 3.

After some adjustments, paiN's current roster is tentatively set as follows:
