Brentford will travel to face League One side Reading in the third round of the 2026/27 EFL Cup. Keith Andrews said he has enjoyed seeing the team's transformation and progress.

Thanks to Kevin Shadd's brace, Brentford drew 2-2 with Bournemouth in the earlier Premier League match, extending their unbeaten run in the last four league games.
