João Pedro believes the team must pay more attention to detail and address its shortcomings.

João Pedro stated that Chelsea got off to a good start against Hull City. However, the team must adjust and address its problems in time to avoid dropping points again in subsequent matches. Ultimately, Chelsea failed to hold onto their advantage, drawing 2-2 with Hull City in this Premier League clash.  

This wasn't the first time Chelsea had taken control of the game early this season. Approaching the 30-minute mark, the team maintained firm control of the tempo and seemed poised to extend their lead. However, Chelsea failed to score the decisive third goal, ultimately drawing 2-2. The team will continue to analyze and improve their performance, striving for a better showing in their next match.  

João Pedro said after the match: "I think the team entered the game very well. We successfully put pressure on the opponent and controlled the situation on the field. However, we still need to do better in some details. It is very important for us to take a point in the end, so we must carefully review the game and make improvements on the problems that exist."  

“We must find our rhythm as soon as possible, because everyone knows how competitive the Premier League is. Once you drop points, it’s often very difficult to get them back later in the season. So we need to adjust our form and performance quickly. If we want to remain competitive in this league environment, we must keep improving these aspects.”  

“We knew very well that once our opponents took the lead, they would choose to tighten their defense and wait for us to commit more players to the attack, then look for opportunities for a quick counter-attack, so it was destined to be a very difficult game. In the end, we were able to take a point, but as I said before, there are still many areas where the team needs to improve. I believe that as long as we continue to work hard, we will soon see progress.”  

This was another standout performance from João Pedro. The Brazilian striker, recently named Premier League Player of the Month for August, has already made four Premier League appearances this season, contributing three goals and three assists. Pedro's continued excellent form in this match is inseparable from the rapid understanding he has developed with Cole Palmer and Morgan Rodgers. When Chelsea equalized, Cole Palmer delivered a precise low cross, and João Pedro was perfectly positioned to capitalize on the opportunity and score.  

João Pedro added: “When Cole Palmer put the ball at my feet, my only thought was to get the shot on target, and I’m happy to have finished with a decent shot. I really enjoy playing alongside Cole Palmer and Morgan Rodgers; they are both incredibly talented players. I know that when the three of us are close together, we can create a lot of threats for the opposition, and we proved that again today. I enjoyed the game and hope we can continue to improve and make the team perform better and better.”
