Kyle Larin: This victory belongs to everyone on the team; it's the result of everyone's hard work.

Kyle Larin's recent impressive goal-scoring record has naturally made him a focus of attention. However, after Southampton unleashed another goal-scoring spree at St. Mary's Stadium, the striker didn't take the credit for himself, but instead emphasized the team's overall effort. Facing Bristol City, who had a full week to prepare, Southampton were initially on the back foot, but with two goals from Kyle Larin, the team ultimately defeated their opponents 4-1.  

Judging from the course of the match, the final score may not fully reflect Southampton's actual performance on the field, as the home team only scored two goals in quick succession in the final stages of the game, completely ending any suspense. However, this victory also brings Southampton's home league goal tally to 15 this season, showcasing a powerful attacking force in all four matches.  

Kyle Larin said: "It was definitely a challenging game. We were under a lot of pressure, both mentally and physically. The team has had a busy schedule recently, with many teammates accumulating a lot of playing time. But most importantly, we withstood the pressure and didn't give up."

Kyle Larin scored twice against Bristol City, helping Southampton to a 4-1 victory at St. Mary's Stadium. After the match, the striker spoke about his excellent form this season. During the game, Larin secured the win with a brilliant long-range shot, receiving the ball about 20 yards from goal and firing a left-footed shot into the top corner of the net.  

When asked where this goal would rank among his career goals, Kyle Larin said, "It was undoubtedly one of the best goals of my career, especially considering it was a left-footed shot from outside the penalty area. I think it definitely deserves a place in my list of best goals. More importantly, this goal gave the team some renewed motivation and helped us gradually find our rhythm in the game."  

"From the players' physical condition, this match was undoubtedly a tough test. However, I think it was crucial for us to take the lead. It gave the team more motivation, allowing everyone to continue to press and keep pushing forward."  

Kyle Larin then followed up with a close-range shot, scoring again and bringing his season tally to eight goals across all competitions. Notably, shortly before this goal, Larin had a physical confrontation with an opponent near the sideline and fell to the ground. However, the referee did not deem the contact a foul and did not award Southampton a free kick.  

Regarding this, Kyle Larin said, "I was really annoyed at that moment because the referee didn't make a call. But the game had to go on, so I could only quickly calm myself down, refocus on the game, and wait for the next chance. When the opportunity finally came, I knew I couldn't let it slip away. I'm very happy to have scored, and more importantly, I'm glad my goal helped the team win."
