In a post-match interview, Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso stated that the draw was a result the team deserved, and seriously pointed out that defensive fragility and lack of concentration were becoming major weaknesses hindering the team from going further.

In his post-match analysis, Alonso said, "We are indeed moving forward, but we hoped to go further. Currently, we must improve in some key areas to remain more competitive in the Premier League."

“We need to be tough throughout the game, not just perform well in certain phases. This consistent consistency is exactly what we need, and it's the area we need to improve the most.”
