Hanwha Life Esports defeated T1 3-1 to advance to the LCK Finals

In the 2026 League of Legends LCK lower bracket finals, Hanwha Life Esports (HLE) defeated T1 3-1 to secure the last spot in the finals.

After their victory, HLE not only advanced to the finals to compete against Gen.G for the championship, but also secured at least a second seed for the 2026 World Championship; T1 finished third this season and will compete in the World Championship as the third seed.

The two teams had previously met in the playoffs, with HLE winning 3-2. The first game was a close contest, lasting 48 minutes, before HLE took the lead thanks to a victory in a jungle team fight and an economic advantage.

In the second game, T1 took an early lead, but HLE secured the Baron Nashor with precise ganks and won consecutive team fights, taking the game in less than 30 minutes to reach match point.

In the third game, HLE had an early advantage, but T1 capitalized on the opponent's mistake at Baron Nashor in the mid-game to complete a comeback and win several key team fights to even the score.

In the fourth game, HLE completely controlled the situation, repeatedly thwarting T1's attacks. After securing the Elder Dragon, they wiped out T1, ultimately destroying the base in 29 minutes with a decisive 16-2 kill ratio, ending the match. HLE will face Gen.G in the final championship match on Sunday, September 13th.
