Marcus Tavernier: As long as we continue to work hard, I believe we will eventually achieve the desired results.

Bournemouth midfielder Marcus Tafnir admitted that the team was disappointed after their 2-2 home draw against Brentford, but he himself continues his excellent form this season. After this match, Tafnir has scored his third goal in four league games, helping the team secure a point. However, in his view, Bournemouth actually had many scoring opportunities in this match and were fully capable of taking all three points.  

The 27-year-old midfielder stated that Bournemouth needs to further improve their attacking efficiency when in control of the game, especially by making fuller use of the chances they create. Marcus Tafnir, in an interview with Bournemouth's official website, said: "I feel like we're here again with disappointment from the team and the club. We should have finished the game much earlier, at least three or even four goals, and secured the victory much sooner. This is something we, the attacking players, must seriously reflect on and analyze."  

"But from another perspective, we can't expect to score three goals in every game to win, so the current situation does present us with a considerable challenge. Most importantly, we need to remain calm in the attacking third and make the right judgments. We handled things well at times in today's game, but for our forwards, we always lack that final push that truly decides the game."  

Marcus Tafnir's goal in this match was made possible by a brilliant assist from Antonio Silva. The midfielder made a timely run behind Bournemouth's attacking player and seized the opportunity to score. Marcus Tafnir revealed that he had already witnessed the Portuguese international's excellent passing ability many times in training.  

He said, "Antonio Silva's passes are excellent; he has demonstrated his ability to deliver accurate passes time and time again in training. After that, all I have to do is provide timely support for the striker. Francisco Evanilson is always in a good position, and my job is to keep up with his runs and provide support from behind."  

Marcus Tafnir continued his excellent form this season with this goal, bringing his Premier League tally to three. However, the midfielder stated that securing Bournemouth's first league victory of the season is a more pressing objective than his goal tally.  

He added, "I'm satisfied with my performance so far this season, but ultimately, the team is the most important thing. We haven't won yet, so we must find a solution as soon as possible to change the current situation. Our goal today was to score the third goal and win the game, but there are still some positive aspects to learn from and take away from this match."  

"As players, we are certainly disappointed that we couldn't help the head coach get his first three points since taking charge of the team. But I believe that as long as we continue to work hard and keep improving on the problems we have, we will soon get the results we want."
