Newcastle United have officially renewed Lewis Hall's contract, reaching a long-term agreement.

Newcastle United have officially announced that they have extended the contract of Lewis Hall, reaching a long-term agreement. The young defender will continue to represent the team at St. James' Park. The 22-year-old Hall has gradually gained more first-team opportunities in recent years and has become an important member of the squad. Since returning to Newcastle United in August 2023, he has made 107 appearances for the club.  

Lewis Hall first joined Newcastle United on loan, making his debut in the team's 8-0 away win against Sheffield United. In July 2024, Newcastle United officially signed him permanently. In the 2024/25 season, Lewis Hall participated in the entire EFL Cup campaign, helping the team reach the final, but unfortunately was unable to play due to an ankle injury. Furthermore, he has made 11 appearances for Newcastle United in the UEFA Champions League.  

Thanks to his consistent performances at Newcastle United, Lewis Hall gradually gained recognition from the England national team and earned the opportunity to represent the senior national team. Having previously played for various youth teams in England, he was first selected for the England senior team in November 2024 and has already made four appearances for the national team.  

After signing his contract extension, Lewis Hall shared his feelings, saying, "I'm very happy to stay here, and this is definitely a memorable moment for me. I'm honored to wear this club's jersey and fight for the fans here. I know very well what this team and the fans here mean to me."  

"Whether the game is at St. James' Park or we're playing away, the fans always give the team tremendous support. In my opinion, we have the best fans in the entire league. Being able to bring them joy and make them smile through our performance on the field is a very meaningful thing for me."
