Frazier was a multiple-time All-Defensive First Team selection. Frazier was also a key member of the Knicks' first two NBA championships, averaging 6.3 assists per game during his 10 seasons with the team.

2. Mark Jackson ( 4005 assists)

Mark Jackson played 17 seasons in the NBA , including seven with the New York Knicks. In his rookie season in 1988 , he averaged 10.6 assists per game and was named Rookie of the Year. During his time with the Pacers and Nuggets in the 1996-97 season, he led the league in assists per game. Jackson played 500 games for the Knicks, averaging 8.0 assists per game.

3. Dick McGuire ( 2950 assists)

Dick McGuire was one of the Knicks' early core players, joining the team in its fourth year. During his eight seasons with New York, he was a five- time All-Star and named to the All-NBA Second Team in his second season.
