Parma completes contract extension with its captain Enrico Delprato..

Parma announced on their official website on Tuesday that the club has extended the contract of its captain, Italian defender Enrico Delprato.

According to Parma's official statement, Delprato has signed on a new three-year deal which runs until the summer of 2029.

About Enrico Delprato

The 26-year-old Enrico Delprato was born on November 10, 1999, in Bergamo, Italy. He is 1.86 meters tall and primarily plays as a right-back but can also play as a center-back or right midfielder.

Delprato joined Atalanta's youth academy at a young age and was promoted to the first-team in the summer of 2018, though he did not make his senior debut for the club.

In July 2019, Delprato was loaned-out to Livorno, before completing his professional debut by coming on as a substitute a month later.

The following September, he joined Reggina on-loan.

On 2021 summer transfer window deadline day, Delprato joined Parma on-loan; the club subsequently triggered the option to make the move permanent.

Since joining I Crociati, Delprato has made 187 appearances for the Serie A side across all competitions, scoring 12 goals and providing 5 assists, where he has won the Serie B title once.
