José Sá admitted that the team must first improve its defensive issues and further enhance the stability of its backline.

While José Sa was delighted with his contract extension with Wolves last week, the team's failure to capitalize on the occasion with a weekend victory left the goalkeeper slightly disappointed. During his time with Wolves, Sa has experienced numerous derby matches, including against West Bromwich Albion and Aston Villa. However, this derby against Birmingham City marked his first time participating in such a clash in his professional career. Although Wolves ultimately only secured a point, Sa still thoroughly enjoyed the unique atmosphere of the game.  

The past week has undoubtedly been fruitful for the Portuguese international goalkeeper. With his future at Molineux now confirmed, José Sá can finally set aside his worries and refocus on the team's remaining tasks for the rest of the season.  

Speaking about his contract extension with Wolves, José Sa said: "I am very happy to sign a new contract. I am very familiar with everything here, whether it is the club environment, the team itself, or the fans. I have built a very deep connection with them, and I have always cherished them very much."
